Meet Robert Mihaly, an artist and one of the few people who holds the keys to a real life castle! Located in the Piedmont of North Carolina, Robert started construction on a castle a decade ago, took some time off on the project, and now is back at it again. In this series finale episode we get an InSide look at why he decided to build a castle, what that process is like, and his vision for the future of it.

Hailing originally from humble beginnings on the Mississippi River, Adi is a phenomenal guitar player now located in the mountain city of Asheville NC. His stage name “Monk” is more than just something made up.  He was an actual monk for 8 years! On top of all that he also holds a toughman contest title. So epic!

In this episode, Rachel will take us for a tour of her life experiences of navigating her strong Christian faith, being in seminary, while being a lesbian and advocate for people “the church” has neglected, shunned or just not welcomed. 

She is part of a larger movement of next steps for the church in a world full of injustice.  She has some great ideas for churches and individual Christian’s as to their roles in welcoming and including everyone AND Jesus said it too!

This week we get an InSide look with Dr. Danny Twilley, a hippie that sells candles in the mountains on the campus of West Virginia University. He’s hiked the Appalachian Trail, biked across the country, and swam across the Atlantic Ocean while holding a baby (Okay, we made that last one up!). But now he has taken his education (he really does have a PhD), his love for the outdoors, and his position as the Assistant Dean at WVU Smith Outdoor Economic Development Collaborative to make a huge impact for the environment and economy of West Virginia. So, gather up a mountain momma on a country road and give this episode a whirl!
