  • Just Breathe… WTF Does That Even Mean?

When someone tells you to “just breathe,” I don’t know about you, but sometimes I want to lovingly roll my eyes straight into another dimension. In this conversation, I unpack why breath is more than fluffy wellness advice and how it’s helped me through everything from labor pains to stage fright to those moments when life feels like an emotional roller coaster with no safety bar. Turns out, one intentional breath can interrupt panic, soften spirals, and remind us we’re still here, still capable, and still very much alive.

    Key Takeaways:

    • A conscious breath can shift your body and your mindset faster than you think
    • You don’t need to be fearless to stay present—you just need one good breath at a time
    • Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is pause long enough to breathe before reacting

  • Re-Pot Yourself

After hearing a venture capitalist speaker casually mention the idea of “Re-Potting Yourself” at a conference, I couldn’t stop thinking about how people need re-potting too, and somehow that led me straight home to my pothos plant. As I untangled roots, moved the plant into a new container, and watched what happened next, I started thinking about the ways we outgrow spaces, routines, and even old versions of ourselves. Sometimes growth doesn’t require becoming someone new; sometimes it simply means giving yourself enough room, nourishment, and light to thrive. And because life has a sense of humor, enjoy this episode for your first listen and my second.

    Key Takeaways:

    • Sometimes growth begins with a simple idea or phrase that keeps echoing until you’re ready to act on it.
    • Just like a pothos plant, people need the right environment, space, and care to truly thrive.
    • Re-potting yourself doesn’t always mean becoming someone new — sometimes it means giving yourself room to grow into who you already are.

  • Entering the Sassy Sixties
    2026/05/03

I invite you to slip on your boldest self and come with me into what I’m calling the sassy sixties—a season where showing up matters more than fitting in. When I found myself at a concert surrounded by people half my age, I could’ve shrunk… but instead, I got curious. I explore what it means to walk into rooms where you don’t quite “match,” and how that discomfort is often the doorway to growth, connection, and a fuller life. Along the way, I reflect on conversations with younger voices navigating imposter syndrome, the myth that impact only comes from starting over, and the magic that happens when generations meet in the middle. This isn’t about age—it’s about energy, willingness, and the courage to keep saying yes to life, even when you don’t have it all figured out.

    Key Takeaways:

    • Showing up—even when you feel out of place—is how you expand your world
    • Curiosity will grow you; comparison will shrink you
    • A vibrant life isn’t defined by age, it’s defined by participation
