The Houston Rockets made major moves this offseason, but are they actually ready to become a real threat in the Western Conference? We break down Kevin Durant’s scoring and health, Amen Thompson’s superstar ceiling, Houston’s point guard situation, Ime Udoka’s offense, Alperen Sengun’s future, and whether this roster has enough to make a legitimate championship run.
We also debate where Houston finishes in the West, whether the Rockets are true contenders or just offseason hype, and close things out with three rounds of One Gotta Go. If Houston wants to make the leap from promising to dangerous, this is the season where we find out what they’re really made of.
