  • 2025 Women's Retreat Session 1
    2025/09/13

Session 1 from our 2025 Women's Retreat, which was September 12-13, 2025. The speaker was Colleen Searcy, and the title is, "Delighting in Scripture."

Colleen loves to give women courage—courage to teach, lead, and read their Bibles. And she finds a lot of joy in sharing the tools she has learned over the years. She is creator of Meet Me in the Bible, a doable 5-step framework for studying the Bible and leading others to do the same.

Colleen is on staff at The Village Church in Flower Mound, Texas, where she leads and teaches Women’s Bible Study and serves as the Director of Women’s Ministry. She also speaks and leads workshops at conferences throughout theyear.

She enjoys cheering on her two sons, Sam and Tate, and her husband, Wes, as he mobilizes students to help plant churches around the world.

  • 2025 Labor Day Family Camp Session #4
    2025/09/01

Audio from chapel session #4 (Sunday evening) of our 2025 Labor Day Family Camp, which was August 29-September 1. The main session speaker is Tyler Parson from CrossRidge Church in Ida Grove, IA. The theme of this message is “Families on Mission.”

    Breakout questions from this session:

    1. What do you know about the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12)?

    2. Which spiritual tactic is most effective against you: deception, division, distraction, or destruction?

    3. Re-read Ephesians 6:13-17. What piece of armor is a challenge for you to put on? Which piece of armor are you most familiar with putting on?

    4. How can you better employ the weapon of God’s Word (Ephesians 6:17)?

    5. This passage concludes with prayer (Ephesians 6:18-20). Take turns praying for each other. Pray specifically for one way you would like God to work in your life, your family, your church, and your community.

    2025/08/31

Audio from chapel session #3 (Sunday morning) of our 2025 Labor Day Family Camp, which was August 29-September 1. The main session speaker is Tyler Parson from CrossRidge Church in Ida Grove, IA. The theme of this message is “Families of Love.”

    Breakout questions from this session:

    1. Name one way that God might be calling you to better live as someone who knows him personally.

    2. What do you find harder: “putting off the old” (Ephesians 4:22) or “putting on the new” (Ephesians 4:24)?

    3. Evaluate your walk and talk based on Ephesians 4:25-32. What do you need to “put off?” What do you need to “put on?”

    4. List the different roles in life from Ephesians 5:15-6:9.

    5. What is one way God might be calling you to more faithfully love others in your role(s) in life?
