While Julie and Eddie sidle closer in their relationship, Eve interrupts with some earth-shattering news that will be of interest to her sister.

Julie became mayor of Devon because of her keen instincts for knowing people, and she is sure Glenn Sabine qualifies as a criminal. Problem is, she can’t prove it.

August in Devon is a dreamy suburban landscape, the perfect setting for a walk with Eve and her friends Shorty and Deirdre as Eve fills them in on what’s been happening with Glenn Sabine and the icky assistant.

When Eve leaves the hotel, it’s go time for Glenn Sabine as he censures his impertinent sexually harassing assistant. Then Julie’s quasi-love interest Eddie shows up with some news about Sabine.

Back in Room 32, Glenn Sabine has gone AWOL and Eve is stuck with the unhealthy chain-smoking assistant who brazenly makes a move on her in the name of show business. Will Sabine return in time?

Full of enthusiasm for her next acting lesson, Eve arrives back at the hotel, only to find the creepy assistant alone. As she waits for Sabine to return, the assistant’s creepiness begins to metaphorically crawl like a spider.
