On Halloween night in 1984, 31 year old Doreen Erbert was 8 months pregnant with a baby boy. After trick or treating with their 4 year old daughter Deanna, her husband Charles had left the home for 15 minutes, and in that time, Doreen was brutally attacked. Her husband returned to a blood bath. Investigators immediately began working on her case, which left two possible suspects: her husband Charles, or her ex-husband Michael.
