  • Managing my Mouth
    2026/10/17

The tongue is small, but it carries enormous power over the direction of our lives. Just as a tiny rudder steers a massive ship, our words steer everything around us, including our relationships, our opportunities, and our own potential. Proverbs 18:21 reminds us that death and life are in the power of the tongue, which means we must be intentional about what we speak over ourselves and others. No person can tame the tongue alone. It requires the Holy Spirit working in us to produce the self-control we need. Managing the mouth also starts with managing the mind, because whatever fills our hearts will eventually come out of our lips. When we ask God to guard our words and take seriously what we allow to feed our thinking, we position ourselves to speak in a way that reflects that we belong to Him.

  • Managing my Mind
    2026/10/09

What if the biggest thing standing between you and the life God has for you is not your circumstances, but your mindset? Jesus had every right to demand comfort, recognition, and honor. Instead, He emptied Himself, obeyed at great cost, and refused to let public opinion determine His next step. What would change in your life if you had that same kind of mind? Philippians 2 has the answer.

  • Managing Me
    2026/09/24

Most of us live as if we own ourselves, but Scripture tells a different story. According to 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, you are not your own. God is the owner of everything, including your body, your time, your talents, and your relationships. Your role is not to be the owner but to be the manager, with the Holy Spirit serving as quality control in your life. When you stop resisting His regulation and start glorifying God in your body, every other area of your life begins to align. Stewardship does not begin with what God places in your hands. It begins the moment you wake up. You are not your own. You are God's own. Live like it.

  • Is anything too hard for the Lord?
    2026/09/17

Abraham and Sarah waited nearly a century for a child, and when God finally sent the promise, Sarah laughed. Not out of joy, but out of doubt. God responded with a question that still echoes today: Is anything too hard for the Lord? That question is not just for Sarah. It is for anyone who has quietly given up on a dream, a prayer, or a promise that has taken too long. Nothing you are facing exceeds God's ability to handle it. The invitation is to stop waiting until after the miracle to praise Him, and to trust Him now, while the answer is still on its way.

  • It's Him for me
    2026/09/10

Isaiah 53, written 700 years before the birth of Christ, describes the suffering of Jesus with stunning detail and divine certainty. He was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities, meaning He bore both what we did against God and what we became as a result. The punishment required to produce our peace, our shalom, our complete wholeness and restoration, was placed entirely on Him. He paid what He did not owe because we owed what we could not pay. Even more remarkable, Isaiah 53:11 tells us that after all of His suffering, Jesus looked at what it would produce and was satisfied. He saw you, He saw who you are becoming, and He decided it was worth it. The call on our lives is to stop treating His grace as something casual and to start living in a way that honors what His death made possible.
