  • Walking Differently — Part Two: Loving Without Carrying What Belongs to God
    2026/11/01

What happens when following Christ begins to change the way we navigate our relationships?

In Part Two of Walking Differently, we explore one of the most challenging lessons of spiritual growth: learning to love the people around us without taking responsibility for their transformation.

When God begins renewing our minds and changing our hearts, we naturally want the people we love to experience that same freedom. But somewhere along the way, our desire to help can become a burden we were never meant to carry.

Through Scripture, we'll explore what it means to plant and water while trusting God to give the growth, establish boundaries without bitterness, forgive without denying the truth, and remain faithful even when others don't understand our obedience.

Because you can love someone deeply without becoming responsible for their spiritual transformation.

Rooted in 1 Corinthians 3:6, Galatians 6:2–9, Proverbs 4:23, and Ephesians 4:15, this episode is an invitation to release what belongs to God while continuing to walk in humility, wisdom, and love.

The goal was never simply to be different. The goal is to become more like Christ.

Welcome to The Grounded Walk—where we don't just talk about faith. We walk it out.

Stand firm. Stay grounded. Walk anchored.

  • Walking Differently - Part 1: The Loneliness and Courage of Obedience
    2026/10/31

Walking Differently: The Loneliness and Courage of Obedience | Part One

There's something about following Christ that we don't always talk about: the loneliness that can come with obedience.

What happens when the conversations you once participated in no longer sit right with your spirit? When the things you once tolerated begin troubling your conscience? When choosing obedience means walking differently from the people you've always loved?

In this episode of The Grounded Walk, we explore the courage it takes to follow Christ when others may not understand the changes taking place in your life.

Walking differently doesn't mean loving people less. Sometimes it means learning to remain faithful to God even when the path feels lonely.

This is Part One of a two-part conversation. In Part Two, we'll explore loving others without carrying responsibility for their transformation, establishing boundaries without bitterness, and trusting God with the people we love.

Welcome to The Grounded Walk — where we don't just talk about faith. We walk it out.

You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to keep walking. Because transformation happens one healed step at a time.

  • Rooted Enough to Walk
    2026/10/04

What does it mean to be rooted in Christ—and what happens when you’re growing in a season where you can’t see the growth yet?

In this episode of The Grounded Walk, Jessica reflects on Colossians 2:6–7 and what it means to walk in Christ, be rooted and built up in Him, become established in faith, and grow in gratitude.

We’ll talk about the seasons when God is doing His deepest work beneath the surface, why storms reveal where our roots are planted, and why we shouldn’t mistake invisible growth for no growth.

Sometimes God isn’t delaying the vision—He’s building the person who will have to carry it.

“Understanding the process is more important than rushing the vision.”

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to keep walking. Because transformation happens one healed step at a time.

    Scripture: Colossians 2:6–7; Psalm 1:3

Stand firm. Stay grounded. Walk anchored.

  • The Thorn, the Limp, and the Grace to Keep Walking
    2026/09/28

What do you do when you’ve prayed for something to be removed—and it remains?

In the first episode of The Grounded Walk, Jessica reflects on Paul’s thorn, the places that leave us walking with a limp, and the grace that sustains us when our circumstances do not change.

Rooted in 2 Corinthians 12:7–10, this conversation is for anyone who loves God, trusts Him, and is still waiting for something to shift. What remains is not proof that God has abandoned you. His grace is still sufficient, His strength is still present, and you can keep walking.

    Scripture: 2 Corinthians 12:7–10
