He continued to get stronger and improve with each performance climbing up the ranks and finishing the year in the Men's Overall Top Ten (7th) for the North American Rankings. Sal has a competitive background in Strongman, Arm Wrestling, and is a certified closer of the CoC 3 (Captains Of Crush 3). Northeastern Regional Championships for Grip Sport International were held in Vermont by Vince Broderick. The events contested were 2 3/8" Napalm Nightmare, 2 Hand Flask, Inch Pinch, Meat Hooks Deadlift, and a Medley.
