Matchup,Consensus Spread,Public Bets (Spread),Public Money (Spread),Public Bets (ML),Public Money (ML),Read Patriots @ Seahawks,SEA -3.5,NE 59%,NE 43%,SEA 90%,SEA 92%,"Public on NE ATS, Sharps on SEA ML" That is now a spread out five wins in a row for the Seahawks vs New England. Seattle 31.7 ppg at home last year, Pats 25.9 on the road. Seattle allowed 19.5 at home, New England 19.4 allowed on the road. This will be interesting as there is no longer Kenneth Walker in Seattle and the Patriots with the AJ Brown acquisition. New England obviously doesn't want to give up 28 points again. There are questions in the defense as they change up a few starters at key positions. Public on the Patriots here with the points and Seattle taking 90% of the money to win the game outright money line. That is where I side Seahawks offense scores enough to win in a closer game than the Super Bowl. Seahawks money line, UNDER 44.5 49ers vs Rams (Melbourne),LAR -2.5,LAR 79%,LAR 80%,LAR 80%,LAR 80%,Heavy public Rams. The Rams have many thinking they are Super Bowl contenders. They have taken 4 of the last 5 vs. SF. The public is all over the Rams here but don't over look the 49ers here. They have added Mike Evans and Christian Kirk as well as added some depth to the defensive and o line. SF put up 25.5 a game on the road last year, the Rams put up 30.7 a game on the road. Both teams gave up 23 a game on the road. The other side to this matchup is last year they split with road teams winning on each others fields. I think the early season favors the 49ers and we'll see how the matchup goes being in Melbourne instead of LA. I buck the public and whatever this season holds last year they beat Super Bowl Champs in week 1, I think the 49ers come in underestimated a bit here but its better to get them in before the injuries that plagued them last year, the key factor not the public money but that the line is still at 2.5 with 80% not moving the number yet. Pick 49ers +2.5 Saints @ Lions,DET -7,DET 76%,DET 87%,DET 74%,DET 66%,Public + sharp aligned on Lions. New Orleans 18.3 a game on the road last year, Detroit 32.5 a game at home. New Orleans gave up 25 a game on road, to Detroits 23 a game at home. 33-28 in Goffs only battle with the Saints since joining the Lions, but only like 210 yards in that game. In that game you see the reason and the reason for concern as Detroit took the first quarter 21-0 lead, then did the Bill Cowher and run the ball the rest of the game. We have seen Shough with a 5-4 record but hasn't played any of the top NFC teams besides the Rams in a game which he struggled. Goff capable of the cover but sometimes that goes how that goes. I'm guessing about 31-23 Lions is my pick, but you can see a pathway to cover backdoor possibly depending on does the coverage change when the Lions have the lead? Well see but my pick is Lions Money Line Bears @ Panthers,CHI -2.5,CHI 93%,CHI 80%,CHI 70%,CHI 76%,Most lopsided public side of Week 1. OK so if there is one pick the public is all over its Chi-2.5, the money in this game is most lobsided. The Bears would be favored by -5.5 if it were at Soldier Field. The Panthers have a punchers chance really depending on who shows up in the backfield. The Bears have beat them four times in row and until they beat you I guess you have your gameplan with it on Carolina to make some plays. Last year Carolina did score 22 which is 6 more at home than on the road. Chicago put up 26.2 on the road last year. The questions for the Bears are defensively on the road where they gave up 30.4 on the road thats 12 point difference to how they played at home. This one feels like everyone is overlooking Carolina completely when they were decent at home. Thing is the Bears run attack will likely take over later in the game. I would wait and see the game flow here and look for a Bears bet at half time or money line it. At this point tho I can't justify taking the Panthers. Bears Money line Ravens @ Colts,BAL -3.5,BAL 55%,IND 61%,BAL 90%,BAL 83%,Sharp money on Colts ATS Flashback to 2023 Week 1 Jackson and the Ravens went to Indy and lost in a game where he only threw for 202, but then there was 2021 where he went for 442 yards passing with Andrews having a big day receiving. Last year BMore 28.4 per game on the road with Indy 28.9 at home. Ravens gave up 21 game on the road Indy gave up 21.8 at home. Jackson 2-1 vs Colts, Jones is 1-1 vs. Ravens. This with Indy breaking an awful streak of week 1 performances last year when they beat Miami making them 1-8-1 last 10 week 1's. Still I think this Indy team is capable of presenting problems on offense with Jones being average and JT running the ball you have to show pass favorable coverages. I'll take the Colts +3.5 at home as they are back healthy. Bills @ Texans,BUF -1.5,BUF 52%,BUF 65%,HOU 70%,HOU 53%,"Split: public on Bills ATS, public on Texans ML" The Bills haven't won in Houston since 2006, With matchups ...
