Sticks and Stinger are joined by Toni McIntosh from the Fiber Fresh National Equestrian Centre to preview the North Island Secondary Schools equestrian champs, running Aug 31 to Sept 4. It's the biggest event the centre has hosted, with 534 riders and 108 teams from schools across the North Island, including local talent Grace Harcourt, Pippa Cooper and Avery Lee. Toni talks through the events on offer, from dressage and show jumping to mounted games, and the pathways the tournament opens up for young riders.
