Allan is former Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist and is living with a terminal illness after being diagnosed with a rare cancer. Allan Finnegan competed in the 2020 series of the ITV variety competition with his comedy act, delivering standup routines that charmed the viewers and judging panel.After the show, the Baptist minister continued working at his church in Bootle as normal, but sought medical advice when he started to experience some issues with his vision in 2022.I didn't ask for any of this…When Allan was little, he hoped to be a footballer. But, like many things in 'Brutal Bootle', that dream was quickly demolished. Thoughts of God never got beyond Mr Godson's classroom, until his future mother-in-law insisted church attendance was a condition of dating the lovely Joyce.
