  • SUMMERWEEN: Deep Dive & Review!
    2026/07/24

A former circus clown escapes from a mental institution, returns to his long-abandoned mansion, and starts hunting the unsuspecting teens partying inside. If that premise doesn’t scream “indie slasher madness,” we don’t know what does.

This week, Josh, Rob, and Ian are diving into Summerween, breaking down the kills, the “gore”, the creepy clown, and whether this blood-soaked indie flick sticks the landing or ends up getting pied in the face.

Expect spoilers, hot takes, terrible jokes, and at least one completely unnecessary tangent because, let’s be honest, we have the attention span of a group of drunk camp counselors.

So grab an iced coffee, avoid creepy clowns with unfinished business, and remember—the first rule of surviving a slasher is don’t throw a party in the killer’s abandoned mansion… you dumbasses.
