With the 3rd Annual GLHC Monster Mash kicking off Saturday, July 11th, we’re getting the party started one day early by celebrating the creatures, beasts, mutants, aliens, and assorted nightmare fuel that made us fall in love with monster movies in the first place!

From massive monsters leveling cities to slimy little bastards hiding in the dark, we’re diving deep into our all-time favorite monster and creature feature movies. What makes a great movie monster? Practical effects or CGI? Big monsters or small creatures? Terrifying beasts or lovable freaks? We’re covering it all.
