Happy Halloween to those who celebrate! We wanted to wrap the month up with a movie that has been talked about since the first year of the show and once we decided to do Gateway Horror Month, we both said "HERE'S WHERE IT GOES!"

We are talking about 2021's De Gebroeders Schimm (The Ghastly Brothers)! A movie about a loveable pair of ghost hunters, child actors that steal the show and special effects that'll scare you stiff! This gem of a movie needs to be seen by many more people and we really hope you enjoy the episode!

Gateway Horror Month continues with one that skirts the line of appropriate to show young ones....but is okay to show teens? We are talking about 1999's Sleepy Hollow and this one gets good. Hyper violent, very stylized and a star studded cast take this Washington Irving story to a whole new level!

We kick off October with a new theme! Gateway Horror Month us underway and we decided to do one of the most recommended gateway horror movies and that is 1987's The Gate! Super awesome special effects, a minimal story but all in all a great time! Is this one safe enough to show a younger audiance? FInd out in this weeks episode!

What a mile stone....4 years and 200 episodes later, we are here and we are still trucking! Dustin and Paul talk about the past, present and future of the show and we didn't talk about it alone! A few friends of the show sent in clips of their favorite memories and some very encouraging words for us over here at The Flicks and Friends Podcast!

Welcome back to the show Guillermo Del Toro! With September being a new month and new theme, we wanted to include our Paterons and giving them the power to pick what we cover this month and man.....they delivered! First up us a haunting ghost story from Del Toro that was perceived incorrectly because of studios and that is Crimson Peak! Join us as we dig up clay and check out ghosts!!!

We round out the 4 Year Anniversary Month with an underrated animated gem....or that's the case for atleast half of us. We are talking about 2010's Shrek Forever After and what a way to go out! Ogres, DOnkeys, pudgy cats......ALL IS BEAUTIFUL! Strap in and enjoy your one day as a scary ogre and enjoy the ride!

This week on the Flicks and Friends Podcast, we are headed to Gotham! 1997's Batman and Robin is up for our 4 Year Anniversary Month and man.....is this movie a movie. With a star studded cast to cheesy one liners, this fourth installment hit highs and lows for the Caped Crusader! What are your thoughts on the movie?!

WE ARE BACK, BABY!!!!! Here to celebrate 4 years of the show with a new month...and that is the fourth installment to a franchise! With that being our theme, this movie only seemed right. Keeping the tradition alive and bringing good friend of the show, Brett Parker of Dissect That Film on, we are heading back to the 50's with Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull!
