In 1935, in the town of Moffat, a young woman was out on a walk with her Mother and noticed a bundle wrapped in cloth, which on first glance looked like nothing much, but on further investigation, there were over 70 different body parts wrapped in cloth and newspaper scattered all around the area.

Many historians describe it as one of the first truly modern forensic investigations.
