  • Motivation Is Overrated: Why Consistency Wins | Chris Ryan, Chris Ryan Fitness

    Send us Fan Mail

What if the secret to success in fitness, business, and life isn't motivation, but consistency?

In this episode of The Elevate Collection Podcast, host Jordan Hawkins sits down with nationally recognized performance coach, entrepreneur, and Chris Ryan Fitness founder Chris Ryan to explore what it really takes to build a healthier, stronger, more intentional life.

From his days as a Division I athlete at the University of Florida to becoming a founding trainer at Mirror and Lululemon Studio, Chris has spent more than 15 years helping high performers reach their potential.

But this conversation goes far beyond the gym.

Jordan and Chris get candid about balancing entrepreneurship, parenthood, and personal wellness while letting go of the all-or-nothing mindset that so often leads to burnout.

    In this episode, we explore:

    • Why consistency matters more than motivation
    • How fitness impacts mental health, energy, and performance
    • Giving yourself grace while pursuing ambitious goals
    • The rise of sober curiosity and wellness-centered social experiences
    • Why you don't need expensive equipment or hour-long workouts to get results
    • Building an identity outside of your career
    • How small, intentional actions create lasting results

Whether you're a founder, parent, athlete, or simply looking to feel better in your everyday life, this conversation is a reminder that you don't have to do everything perfectly. You just have to keep showing up.

  • Arielle G. Noel on How a Faith Forward Venture Studio Matches Capital With Purpose
    2026/10/13

    Send us Fan Mail

You can hear it in Arielle’s answers right away: she’s not chasing attention, she’s building alignment. We talk through what she actually does across Godwave Studio, Circles, and Goshen Global Group and how those threads connect into one mission: helping founders and institutions move from vision to real-world results while staying anchored to faith-forward values.

We also slow down and make the “family office” world understandable. Arielle explains what a family office is, how it differs from a typical venture capital firm, and why a family’s investing thesis is about more than returns. The throughline is trust. Trends come and go, but long-standing relationships, clear mandates, and shared purpose are what make partnerships work. We get practical about what creates a great fit, what turns into an immediate no, and why relationship capital matters more than collecting contacts.

Then we zoom out to the biggest lever they’re leaning into: media. Arielle makes the case that storytelling shapes minds fast because it’s everywhere now on phones, YouTube, and streaming, especially for kids. That’s why Godwave focuses on experiences and media, including an upcoming golf tournament that convenes investors, athletes, and community leaders while supporting organizations like Kids Alive International and other ministries doing meaningful work globally.

If you care about impact investing, family offices, faith and business, leadership, and building legacy with integrity, this conversation will sharpen how you think. Subscribe, share this with a friend who’s building, and leave a review with the biggest insight you’re taking from Arielle’s approach.

  • How Friday Stairs Turned A Free Workout Into A Movement| Jovany Ruiz, Friday Stairs
    2026/10/06

    Send us Fan Mail

A weekly stair workout in Tampa doesn’t sound like a revolution until you hear how Jovany and his co-founders built Friday Stairs into a full-blown community wellness movement. Jovany shares how he grew up in a tiny Puerto Rico village “rich in spirit,” moved to Buffalo to learn English through sports, and eventually realized his real gift wasn’t corporate success, it was bringing people together. That mission now shows up every Friday morning as music, sweat, and connection on the stairs overlooking the water at the Tampa Bay Convention Center.

We dig into the real origin story: burnout from personal training nonstop, a solo reset trip to Bali and Thailand, and one simple plan to meet at 7 a.m. on a beautiful set of stairs. The result wasn’t just a great workout, it was deeper presence and vulnerability afterward. That same design powers Friday Stairs today, with an inclusive setup that welcomes ex-athletes and true beginners alike. Speed lane, steady lane, walking lane, bodyweight stations, partner work, and a “confined” space that keeps people mixing instead of disappearing like a typical run club.

Then we get practical for founders and creators: how they think about monetization without charging participants, why aligned brand sponsorships matter, what makes their newsletter perform, and how a four-person leadership team stays ego-light and mission-first. We also talk Atlanta expansion details and what it takes to bring the right local culture, DJs, and leaders into a new city.

If you’ve been craving real connection, sustainable fitness, and a community that helps you climb through life, hit play. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs a tribe, and leave a review to help more people find Friday Stairs.
