The Education Industrial Complex — Indoctrination and Institutional Decay
American public education has undergone a profound transformation over the past several decades, driven by the progressive ideological capture of teacher education programs, school administration, curriculum development organizations, and the major teachers' unions. The traditional mission of education — to transmit knowledge, develop critical thinking, and prepare students for civic and economic participation — has been substantially supplanted by an ideological mission: to cultivate social justice consciousness, deconstruct traditional values, and advance progressive political identity.
This transformation is visible across multiple dimensions of the educational system: curriculum content, teacher training, administrative priorities, disciplinary policies, and the criteria by which student success is defined and measured. Its consequences are severe: declining academic achievement, deteriorating civic literacy, reduced preparation for productive economic participation, and the imposition of progressive ideological frameworks on students and families who do not share them — and who have limited ability to exit a government-funded system they are compelled to support through taxes.
