The episode recounts the chilling history of Fox Hollow Farm, a private estate in Westfield, Indiana, where businessman Herb Baumeister is believed to have murdered up to twenty-five men. After his suicide in 1996, investigators discovered thousands of human bone fragments scattered across the property, sparking an identification process that continues with modern DNA technology. Beyond the criminal investigation, the source details pervasive paranormal reports from subsequent residents who encountered shadowy figures and auditory hauntings linked to the victims. The narrative traces Baumeister’s disturbed psychological background and his deceptive double life as a suburban father who lured men from gay bars to his home. Ultimately, the episode serves as an overview of one of the Midwest's most notorious serial killer cases and the lingering quest for victim closure.
