  • Going Home: Why India Feels Like My Soul’s Retreat
    2025/11/04
India has my heart. For 20 years, this incredible country has been calling me back. From my first visit as a teenager to now hosting transformative retreats there — it’s always felt like coming home. It’s also where the Bleisure Life Retreat comes to life — the perfect blend of business, travel, and self-care. It’s where I get to fully embody what I teach: Rest and Receive. This retreat isn’t just a getaway. It’s an experience of slowing down, of deep connection — to self, to others, to a culture that invites presence and pleasure. Every detail is taken care of so you can soften into the experience and allow yourself to be fully held. Whether you’re dreaming of visiting India, curious about creating your own retreat, or simply craving more presence and joy in your life — this is your invitation. A reminder that the life you love isn’t waiting for you later. It’s here now. Let yourself receive it. Tune in now.

After 18 years of leading a thriving agency, Sara Howard courageously closed the doors on her business. What came next? Freedom, creativity, and the open door to a new chapter. In this honest episode, I'm sharing what it looks like to practice self-care to the max when life feels overwhelming. You’ll hear how a series of crises, from retreat changes and childcare issues to family dramas and sleepless nights, led me to dig deep into my self-care toolkit. • A life of Magic
    2025/10/01
Do you want to live a life of magic? I know I do. I'm writing a book - It's called, A Life of Magic. I always thought my second book would be about retreats. But life had other plans. In this deeply personal episode, I share the story behind A Life of Magic, the memoir I’m writing with (and for) my 102-year-old cousin, Bill Hunter. Bill’s life is truly extraordinary: a WWII Navy veteran, a professional magician for over 80 years, and a man who’s touched countless lives around the world. From performing at the Indy 500 for 50 years (every single year for 50 years straight) to collecting stories from those he inspired, his journey is filled with wonder, wisdom, and heart. This isn’t just a book, it’s a legacy project, 16 years in the making. I talk about how it started, why it matters so deeply to me and our family, and how you can be part of bringing this beautiful story to life. We’re crowdfunding A Life of Magic through Kickstarter, and your support can help make Bill’s lifelong (all 102 years!!) dream a reality. Listen in to hear how you can join us, and why this project is about so much more than words on a page.

  • When the unexpected happens
    2025/09/22
I always say expect the unexpected… and then the unexpected happened. We had to change! In this episode, I share how, after civil unrest broke out in Nepal, I had to move our retreat …. not just to a new venue … but to a whole new country! I talk about what was happening on the ground, my deep ties to Nepal, and the disappointment of shifting a retreat I’ve been dreaming about for years. I also take you behind the scenes of how we made this change — quickly, honestly, and with care for both my clients and my partners. You’ll hear: • Why “expect the unexpected” has always been my mantra for travel and retreats • The reality and emotions of moving Nepal, and the responsibility I felt to make the right decision • How strong travel partnerships meant we could pivot in just 6 days • A look at our new India retreat itinerary: Delhi, Amritsar, Dharamsala, and of course, the Taj Mahal • Why intention matters more than location when you’re hosting retreats • The importance of planning for the “what ifs” in both business and life It’s about being real with what happens when plans change, and how we can still create powerful, memorable experiences, even when the unexpected shows up.
