BIG IDEA:
We have spent the year talking about inviting your friends and the cause circle, what if I told you are also called to pray, care for, and share the gospel with your enemies. How do you treat people you don’t like? The people you have beef with. The ones who spread rumors about you or have betrayed you. I promise you that it matters to God how you treat them. We invite our friends because we love them and want them to know Christ. Jesus calls us to extend his love and gospel to those that we call enemies, so that they can go from enemies to brothers/sisters in Christ. He calls us to invite our enemies.

Big Idea:
Living out our God given image is the ultimate blessing. It is in living out who God
made us to be that we experience wholeness, contentment, and joy. In this fallen
world, we are taught that wealth, power, and pleasure are the goals of this life.
According to Jesus, the opposite is true. If you want true power, humble yourself. If
you seek true riches, you must exchange them for poverty. And if you wish to have
your desires satisfied, you must hunger and thirst for what seems unsatisfying.
Jesus Way is the only way to experience the BLESSED life.

Big Idea:
As we learned about Hezekiah’s story, he would seek the Lord first, pray to Him in his
time of need, and often go to the house of the Lord. In Isaiah 39, we learned he did none
of that when Babylon (the enemy) came knocking on his door. Hezekiah thought by
showing the enemy around then he would have peace and security. Jesus teaches us to
seek His Kingdom first. We are able to find true peace and security in Him only.
