  • Wellness, Weight Loss & Plant-Based Diets
    2025/04/27

Plant-based diets are evidence backed to support anyone on their journey to sustainable weight loss. They’re naturally low in calorie density, which means they naturally help people trend towards calorie deficits. They help create feelings of fullness by stretching stomach receptors at lower calorie intakes.

Plant-based diets also lead to increased fiber consumption which feeds gut bugs that then reward us with postbiotics that decrease appetite and slow down intestinal motility.

Eating real foods also helps recalibrate our reward centres, so apples can taste sweet again!

In this episode, we’ll dive deep into all of these concepts and explore why plant-predominant eating patterns seem to be perfectly in tune with our body’s natural biochemical appetite regulation mechanisms.
