Army Major Michael Stockin was a doctor at Madigan Army Medical Center, JBLM, where service members trusted him to help manage chronic pain. Instead, dozens of male patients later accused him of inappropriate and abusive examinations—many saying Stockin used both his medical authority and military rank to make them believe the contact was medically necessary. In this episode, Margot walks through the investigation, the military charges, Stockin’s court-martial, the impact on his victims, and the ongoing FTCA claims against the Army. Trigger Warning: This episode discusses sexual abuse in a military medical setting. ⸻ Check out today’s sponsor!
