Several weeks ago now, NSW Police informed Katie Walker’s family of a new discovery in her apartment which they believe backs their theory that she ended her life – but when questioned further on this, the police did not respond. Meanwhile, a friend of Katie’s in America details how in April and May she was convinced she was being followed by multiple men.

As I await a response from NSW Premier Chris Minns on how he can help Katie Walker by raising her case with the Police Commissioner, this week I look at the eerily similar disappearance of 28-year-old Melody O’Gara (pictured) – who was last seen in the exact same spot as Katie in 2004.

The Tamarama location isn’t the only thing Melody and Katie’s disappearances have in common, which is what left Katie’s brother “freaked out” as I shared this story with him after it was first sent to me by a lovely listener.

I spent several days this week questioning if I share Melody’s story and if it’s relevant? Or if we’re simply now clutching at anything in the hope it’ll bring… something? Ultimately, I decided that even if this isn’t related to Katie, despite the similarities, at the very least this podcast today will help keep Melody O’Gara’s memory alive.

It was this trip that friends say changed the trajectory of Katie’s life and led to more darkness than enlightenment.

It has now been 117 days since Katie Walker was last seen in Sydney's Tamarama - and this week, a lot has happened. A new person has come forward and their claims have led to a huge development which, in our opinion, finally and definitively, prove that Katie Walker did not end her life.

Katie Walker, 46, was last seen in Sydney's Tamarama at 1:12pm on May 23, 2026.

In articles several weeks ago now, the press wrongly identified the mum-of-two as a "Married At First Sight Australia producer" and described the wrong woman. They confused Katie Walker with Kate Walker, who works in TV. Since then, some outlets have quietly deleted their stories and there has been zero further coverage.

The real Katie's story has now been ignored by all mainstream media.

I (Joshua Fox) have spent a week now speaking to Katie's frustrated friends and family, and promised them I'd use my platforms to get her face and story out there that'll hopefully lead to new information. Plus, I've been speaking the private investigator they've hired to also try and find answers
