What starts off as a sharp singer of a sitcom evolves into a thoughtful and well-observed show about relationships and sexuality. Plus, it's very very funny.

The episodes are super short, but there is so much to discuss!

For our first episode of season two of The Denouement, Josh and Mpona are discussing a biggie: the final episode of season one of The Leftovers on HBO and Now.

Three years after an unexplained phenomenon called "the sudden departure" where 2% of the world's population vanished into thin air, the town of Mapleton, New York, and their beleaguered police chief, Kevin Garvey, struggle to hold it all together.

This discussion has been a long time coming - it's one of Josh's all time faves, and this podcast was the perfect excuse to make Mpona (and all of you!) watch it. We're tackling big themes such as life, death, religion, cults, family and grief.
