Have you ever Googled a decision so much that you somehow ended up trusting yourself even less?
When I became a new mom, I desperately wanted to get it right. I read the books, asked the experts, talked to other moms, and Googled myself into oblivion.
And of course, real life would hand me situations nobody else could answer for me.
And I had to admit something uncomfortable:
Sometimes I wasn't looking for more information.
I wanted someone else to choose so I wouldn't have to risk being wrong.
This is a story about perfectionism, motherhood, overthinking, and what happened when I finally gave my own voice a seat at the table.
I didn't stop reading the books.
I didn't stop asking experts.
I didn't even stop Googling.
I just finally consulted myself, too.
If you're standing in a new season of your life wondering who the heck gave you the keys, pull up a chair.
Let's get curious together.
