# The Daily Trend Report with giovanni gallucci: September 24, 2026 Good morning. This is Alexis Parker, sitting in with giovanni gallucci and Chloe Dawn, and this is the Daily Trend Report. Morning, Alexis. ## In this episode **Social Media.** Eddie put this at the top of his desk last night and I understand why. Brinker International had its investor day Tuesday, and Chili's chief marketing officer George Felix laid out a growth plan they are calling Better Than Fast Food. **Clean Label Food and Beverage.** Kendall sent over a Food Business News piece from Tuesday and it is the first fall menu story in years that is actually about something. Pumpkin spice is still the volume driver, nobody is arguing that. **Content Creation Tactics.** Eddie and Travis both flagged this one and I have been turning it over since about four this morning. Retail Dive ran an interview Tuesday with Staples' chief marketer about a new B2B campaign. ## Quick takeaways - Pull up your last thirty posts and mark the ones a stranger could name in two seconds with the sound off. That number is your real starting point. - Pick the two items that passed and give them half of next month's calendar, by name, written on the calendar. Not a theme, the item. - Run the two second test on a person who does not work there, today, with your own phone. Believe their hesitation over your own taste. - Name the one fall thing you make that is not pumpkin, then go check whether anybody within fifty miles of you is posting about it. Usually the answer is nobody. - Call the producer who supplies it and ask for six weeks of each other's comment sections. Not a graphic, not a discount code, comments. - Give the pair one plain name and put it in the first post in both feeds, so the fifth week has somewhere to live. - One is a joke. Two is a coincidence. Three is where you find out whether people finish it, and finishing is the only number in there worth reading. Then you keep going to eleven, because the eleventh one is when the audience starts arriving already knowing the rule, and that is the whole point of having one. - Write the sentence your customers repeat back to you, then write its opposite. The opposite is your device and you already owned it. - Make three posts off it this week and watch which one people finish, not which one got likes. ## Sources cited - Daily cross-LLM trend reports: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and Copilot ## About the show The Daily Trend Report is a daily briefing on social media, clean-label food and beverage, and content, social, and AI for operators.
