The Daily Companion — Audio Edition No. 10 · Thursday, October 15, 2026

The audio edition of The Dog You Chose Press's daily newspaper for very good dogs, read by the Press's own desk voices.

Front page: "No Strangers, Only Future Friends" — Poppy the Bichon Frise organizes a curb-side welcome for the street's newest family. The season is Bryor, day three. All eighteen Companion Signs readings, with Bryor — the Sign of the Season — starred. Born Today: Bryor.

Inside: Tales of Fern the Basset Hound, Otto the Cairn Terrier, Nina the Basenji, and Arlo the Border Collie. The World Weather Watch: Dublin, Kyoto, Buenos Aires, and Chicago. The Dog Game: Snuffle Towel. The Police Report, featuring Basil, the Intersection Herding Officer. The Barketplace: the Treat Index climbs, and the blanket standard heats the Whippet economy. The Editorial Kennel: "Greet First, Unpack Later." The Book Page reviews You Decided to Get a Whippet — four paws. Bruno's Blog closes the paper: a street is finished when its newest dog has been greeted by name.

Musical breaks: "The Velvet Corridor" and "Nocturne Elevator" by Nick Alex (one-minute excerpts).
