We push back on the idea that Christians should stay out of politics and argue that voting is part of faithful stewardship and love of neighbor. We walk through Joseph’s rise to power in Egypt to show how godly leadership and wise planning can protect human flourishing.

• political season pressure and why disengagement is a lie
• stewardship as worship and the dominion mandate reaching the ballot box
• Joseph’s early life, betrayal, slavery, prison, and enduring faithfulness
• Joseph’s real governing authority and responsibility under Pharaoh
• storing grain in abundance as practical leadership that saves lives
• why a constitutional republic depends on the voice and vote of the people
• warning that Christian apathy opens the door to ungodly leadership

We connect the greatest commandments to everyday civic responsibility and argue that Christian faith cannot stay sealed off from the public square. We make the case that voting and political participation are acts of stewardship rooted in love of God, love of neighbor, and a commitment to human flourishing.
• cultural pressure to let Christians exist only in private spaces
• why low Christian voter turnout changes election outcomes
• the Shema as a core command for devoted Christian life
• Jesus affirming the Shema and adding love of neighbor
• politics as an outworking of biblical morality and justice
• voting and advocacy as stewardship with real downstream effects

We open Philippians 2 and get painfully honest about what happens when we keep making life about ourselves instead of the interests of Jesus Christ. We draw a straight line from self-focus to self-loathing, then call each other to surrender that leads to real joy and purpose.
• reading Philippians 2:17–21 and highlighting Paul’s warning about self-interest
• putting it plainly that life is not about us even though God is for us
• asking whether we primarily seek our own interests
• connecting constant self-reflection to self-loathing and burnout
• reframing identity as a bit player in God’s redemptive narrative
• applying servant leadership through the shepherd and sheep picture
• contrasting “Here am I, send me” with “Here am I, bless me”
• fixing our eyes on Jesus and learning His interests through Scripture
