Hanna Fushihara is the founder of Nosework for cats!

Nosework Cats is an enrichment and training activity in which your cat is seeking, sniffing, and hunting for their treats or food. It's a game that has been tweaked specifically for cats from the model of nosework for dogs. Cats have their own species specific traits in behavior, biology, and how they live with us. We’ll account for all of that cat-ness. It’s a bonding experience for you and your cat. You’ll learn so much about how they experience the world and process information. Hanna started this in 2020.

Gaëlle Anne Fouéré is currently studying feline behaviour with a view to becoming a consultant in this field, but this will in fact be her third career.She began as a journalist, notably at the newspaper Le Monde in Paris, where she covered education news. She then joined the United Nations, where she worked successively at the WHO, UN Women and MONUSCO – the UN peacekeeping mission in the DRC. She held positions as an editor and translator in English, French and Arabic.Gaëlle Anne Fouéré has lived in France, Egypt, Turkey, Switzerland and the DRC. She is currently based in Dublin, Ireland, where she is working with the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.She shares her life with her beloved cat, Caramel.

Hannah is a Registered Veterinary Nurse with 38 years in the veterinary profession and a proud BVNA member. She’s the founder of zumi, a pet care app that connects pet owners with Registered Vet Nurses for trusted, affordable in-home pet care. The app gives pet owners more accessible options for pet care, supports vet teams in caring for their clients outside the practice, and helps vet nurses use their skills beyond traditional clinical roles.
Outside of work you’ll find her hanging out with her family, going to the theatre, de-stressing in a yoga class, or spending time with rescue pals - Loula (terrier x) and Toast Malone (ginger kitty). Hannah is Chair of Trustees for the Michael Guest Charitable Foundation, and a passionate advocate for supporting registered charities. She loves to travel and has spent time abroad volunteering for wildlife protection and conservation.
