Mercury Summer Theater of the Air || (04) Jane Eyre [by Charlotte Bronte] | June 28, 1946

The half-hour radio play compressed Charlotte Brontë’s 1847 Victorian classic, focusing on Jane's arrival at the dark and mysterious Thornfield Hall, her growing romantic attachment to the brooding Edward Rochester, and the shocking, disruptive revelation of his insane wife, Bertha Mason, locked away on the third floor.

The Adventures of Harry Lime || An Old Moorish Custom || December 14, 1951

Harry's in Algiers, on the trail of golden cups and gold dust lost since 1504. Harry has just twenty four hours to find the loot + This is a love story but don’t worry there’s action in it, Arab chieftains, international gangsters and a buried treasure but essentially this is a tale about one of the times Harry Lime fell in love.
