  • Hickey Removal
    2026/08/03
Back in the living room! Jason Allen King, Jordan Centry, and Jonathan Williams are keeping things spicy this week. Jordan had a bachelor party weekend in Asheville and things got interesting. The conversation dips into hickeys, debauchery, secrets, bad decisions, compromise, relationship challenges, infidelity, and more. Jordan plays his hand perfectly. How do you get rid of a hickey? Makeup? The guys move the conversation into how one comes clean on making mistakes in relationships if at all. There are car companies with control over your car if you miss payments. Well, maybe. They revisit GTA not providing a tangible product and car repos. Jonathan's car was towed from his own complex to no fault of his own only to learn in North Carolina all registrations will be digital beginning in October. In the second segment, Jonathan reveals we have a winning bid for his socks. Jason discusses a recent bomb on stage and potentially why it happened. Unpacking that takes an interesting turn. Sometimes it's the smallest detail, tone or word choice that can cause havoc and make you lose the audience. You never blame the audience but also maybe, just maybe, an audience can just want out. NC's Funniest Competition moves on to the Semi Finals. Mike Mello, Raleigh comedian, is brilliant. Check him out. The guys discuss the seven deadly sins and Jonathan's order of preference. Everyone weighs in. The guys round out the show with a Would You Rather you don't want to miss. Actually two WYR's! 2026/07/27
The guys are back in the living room! Jason Allen King, Jordan Centry, and Jonathan Williams cover some ground. If they were a boy band, they are not, but if they were Jonathan would definitely not be Harry Styles. The #socks are coming off again but after the break. They discuss and appreciate their new followers.Jordan spent the week in NYC for a couple shows and three sold out Jay-Z shows at Yankee Stadium. They discuss the insane VIP experience, merch, and Jay-Z's history. Go to concerts. The second segment gets sockless and get in the weeds with the current political necromancy. They discuss the curiosity surrounding Mitch, Lindsay, and their past. And the pardon bribery of Boosie. What a wild story. And they end with a brain crushing Would You Rather. • We're Talking About Fight Club
    2026/07/10
All three hosts are officially back in the studio! This week, Jason Allen King joins Jordan Centry and Jonathan Williams to break down viral moments, local comedy scene drama, and the deepest theological questions the internet has to offer. The guys kick off the episode trying to hold Jonathan to his promise of taking his shoes off on camera for a very specific listener. From there, they dive into a recent article published by The Charlotte Observer highlighting five prominent figures in the local Charlotte comedy scene. The guys discuss the inevitable fallout, addressing the "indie scene" comics who felt underrepresented, why tracking down a journalist on Facebook to gripe is a terrible career move, and why any press is a rising tide that lifts all local boats. Later, they talk about a massive milestone for the pod: a genuinely viral moment! Jonathan breaks down the science behind a quick video he posted during the US World Cup match featuring Fight Club stars Brad Pitt and Edward Norton in the crowd. With over 6.3 million views and counting, the guys look behind the curtain at what it’s like to navigate a viral comment section (and why half the people think it’s an anti-LGBTQ post). This naturally leads to Jonathan sharing a hilarious, real-life story about the short-lived, parking-lot "Fight Club" he started as a high school sophomore. Finally, Jordan derails the comedy chatter with a massive theological curveball: Did people born before Christ automatically go to hell? The guys discuss religious constructs, Dante’s Inferno, and a hilarious 60-second freestyle from Jason on which of the seven deadly sins he would hide from his friends to keep them out of purgatory (hint: it's gluttony). Upcoming Shows & Tour Dates: • July 10th: Jason & Jonathan are heading to Copper Fox Distillery in Williamsburg, VA (Jordan is skipped out to see Jay-Z in NY!). Get your tickets on Eventbrite! • Astoria, NY: Jordan is heading up to New York for a special Wednesday showcase! • Jonathan's Bail Money
    2026/07/01
We are back inside the home studio with Jason Allen King and Jordan Centry (and completely missing Jonathan Williams, who is currently surviving a budget-conscious, post-parade trip to New York City). We’re keeping it entirely authentic to the green room vibe—refusing to be purely reactionary, but absolutely ready to pull back the curtain on our favorite icons making major corporate compromises. Episode Timestamps: • [00:00:11] – The Key Code Robbery: Jordan is recording live from Jason's house and realizing they could have looted the place 15 times over by now. • [00:01:25] – The Target Boycott & Jay-Z's 30th Anniversary: Why Jay-Z's exclusive Reasonable Doubt vinyl drop at Target is causing a major uproar. • [00:04:09] – "I'm Not a Business man, I'm a Business, Man": Re-evaluating Hova’s capitalistic history, from gentrifying Brooklyn with the Nets to undermining Colin Kaepernick with the NFL deal. • [00:06:02] – The Target Double-Standard: Why Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole escaped the backlash for their exclusive vinyl drops while Jay-Z catches heat. • [00:07:45] – The Underground Grocery Railroad: Breaking the Target boycott via DoorDash and looking for specialized Fruity Pebbles Liquid Death. • [00:11:06] – Billionaire Nobility vs. Solidarity: Channeling Jonathan's philosophy on why billionaire charity shouldn't outweigh systemic tax obligations. • [00:13:01] – The Maui Fires & The Truth About Oprah: Explaining why Oprah's PR masks a track record that includes modern fat-shaming. • [00:14:51] – Hardcore Stan Culture: Why the classic The Blueprint album dropping on 9/11 proves Jay-Z fans will buy his music through a literal crisis. • [00:15:49] – America 250 & The White House UFC Fight: Dismantling the complete lack of decorum on the White House lawn, comparing a tan suit controversy to dirtbikes and octagon fights. • [00:18:34] – Nate Bargatze & Shane Gillis Catching Heat: What happens when self-proclaimed "non-political" comedians make strategic choices to fly specific flags. • [00:24:26] – Jonathan’s New York Escape Plan: Tracking down why Jonathan went to NYC right after the Puerto Rican Day parade (budget metrics) and anticipating his inevitable road rage/mugshot. • [00:28:05] – The Knicks Did It! Reliving the epic 29-point comebacks, Jalen Brunson taking a massive pay cut for team legacy, and Victor Wembanyama turning into the "Duke villain" of the NBA. • [00:43:46] – North Carolina vs. New York Sports Over/Under: Will the Knicks, Giants, and Rangers outpace the Hurricanes, Hornets, and Panthers? • [00:45:33] – The Invisible Championship: How the Carolina Hurricanes won a title and nobody in the office noticed because of the massive New York media bias. • [00:49:01] – The North American World Cup Fiasco: $1,000 ticket prices vs. European shock at the scale of American college football stadiums. • [00:57:25] – 60-Second Spin: Jordan's PR team spins his fictional appearance at the White House UFC fight as a masterclass in diversity representation. • [01:01:02] – Shoutout to the DIY Clubs: Showing love to the Jacksonville Playhouse and the Black Power Rangers collective for letting indie comics get headlining reps. Who’s Headlining Anyway presented by The Comedy Zone is back — Jordan Centry and Jonathan Williams (@MrWilliamsComedy) broke in and did the podcast without Jason Allen King. So, this might not be the best episode to listen to. Tune in next week when Jason is back. Also, court is pending. Jordan saw someone on the way to the recording hitting the pipe and then saw people playing frisbee. Charlotte is multitudes but it is not New York. The guys discuss the New York Knicks. And Trump’s attendance. Could this loss be his fault on some level? The hierarchy of bills. The millennial notion of not checking the mailbox is a real thing. Alex King and Sean Kett are getting some love from Charlotte, Axios and Blair. The influencer discussion continues. Would you rather…wealth is often an answer but how you get it is more complicated. You may not believe this but Kanye comes up. Jordan rants. I won’t say about what but… @jordancentry @mrwilliamscomedy @kingjasonallen FOLLOW + SUBSCRIBE Subscribe for full episodes + clips, and follow us on IG for show updates.
