By the will of Zeus, we're back!

Featuring an incredible ensemble cast including Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Jon Bernthal and Zendaya, Christopher Nolan delivers his most ambitious production yet.

The team also debates whether audiences should experience the film in IMAX, with Nolan once again pushing the format to its limits by filming entirely with IMAX cameras.

Welcome back to The Chronicle, the official film podcast of The Peoples Movies! In episode 58, Paul and Nick Bartlett review two chilling new horror films — Obsession and Hokum.

First up is Curry Barker’sObsession. Following the success of his viral YouTube horror Milk & Serial, Barker heads to the big screen with a psychological horror centred around Bear, a shy music store employee played by Michael Johnston. Hoping to win over his crush Nikki (Inde Navarrette), Bear turns to a mysterious wish-granting object known as the “Wish Me A Willow.” But every wish comes with terrifying consequences.

The duo also discuss Damian McCarthy’s atmospheric horror Hokum. Starring Adam Scott as struggling writer Ohm, the film follows his journey to Ireland as he revisits the hotel where his parents were once happiest. Bringing their ashes with him, Ohm hopes the trip will spark inspiration for his unfinished novel — but dark and disturbing events soon begin to emerge.
