概要
A cold lobby, an empty building, and a carafe found full and hot at 6:47 AM despite the coffee machine being off - a concrete, unexplained discrepancy that kicks open the door to something uncanny. What warmed the carafe overnight in a locked depot with an unbroken access log?
In this episode, we present the sequence of events at the Aldermoor Freight Depot from its reopening in spring 2018 through complaints filed in 2018-2019, showing the timing, sensory details, and maintenance records that frame the mystery. Which recorded facts point toward a mechanical cause, and which remain stubbornly unexplained?
Person: Earl Petersen
Date: March, 2019

- Earl Petersen touched the carafe at 6:47 AM on a Tuesday in the third week of March 2019.
- The building’s access log showed the last entry at 5:12 PM the previous evening and no entries until Earl’s card at 6:47 AM.
- The Bunn coffee machine warming plate was cold to the touch while the carafe was full and warm.
- The subterranean service room had been bricked over around 1952 and unsealed during renovation before reopening in spring 2018.
- Heather Hansen logged eleven complaints between July 2018 and December 2019 describing a low-frequency hum, timed cycling corridor lights, occasional coal-smoke smells lasting about five minutes, and footsteps that stopped as soon as she stood up.
