We've had a couple of guests on recently to talk about how we can fix government and democracy, but no one has worked on this so much as Edmund Maklouf. His life is fascinating: his family moved around Europe and America, which led him to drop out of Harvard twice and eventually into banking, where he worked in the City of London, helping create modern international capital flows and becoming the godfather of the modern, globalized economy.
