Welcome to your weekly reminder that there is, in fact, more happening in Camden County, Georgia than you thought.

From St. Marys to Kingsland and Woodbine to Kings Bay, this is your quick, no-fluff rundown of local events, small business creativity, and the occasional “wait… that’s happening here?” moment.

We’re talking theater, markets, wine tastings, community events, live music, and yes, sometimes even things like Nerf battles and adult Easter egg hunts. Camden keeps things interesting.

Each episode is short enough to listen to on your way somewhere… preferably somewhere on this list.

No endless scrolling. No guesswork. Just a better answer to:

“So…what do you want to do this weekend?”

Hosted by Sally from Century 21 Crest Realty, who believes your town should feel like more than just where you live. It should feel like where you belong.

New episodes weekly.

Now go do something fun. Camden’s waiting.

  • What Is Happening in Camden County - October 5 - 12, 2026
    2026/10/06

This week starts on the civic side of things, with several chances to get informed before election season really ramps up. We’ve got the St. Marys tax increase hearing, Camden County’s millage-rate hearing, a voter education forum in Woodbine, and three separate St. Marys City Council candidate forums covering Posts 1, 2 and 3.

Then the calendar takes a hard left into fall fun.

There’s The Crow at One More Chapter Bookseller, Coffee and Commerce, golf, Bike Night, a local author signing, permanent jewelry, Alive After 5, a Marsh March, and a sunset silent disco.

Saturday is especially packed, with the Okefenokee Festival, a swamp hollering contest, a puzzle exchange, an appliqué class, Halloween train rides, supper club at Cottle & Gunn, a bat hike, moonlight meditation, the Haunted Library, and a late-night 90s silent dance party.

Sunday keeps it moving with the Game On! Triathlon in St. Augustine, Novel Brews celebrating her birthday at CENTURY 21 Crest Realty, line dancing at Axes and 8ights, and Birding Basics at Crooked River.

And because apparently one week is not enough, we’re carrying the CatchUp into Monday with the Wreckreaction Scuba Underwater Adventures Dive Crew monthly meeting.

Did we miss anything? Let us know what you have coming up!

Thinking about buying, selling, or renting a home? We've got your back.
