At just 24, Zori from Bulgaria has experienced years of digestive problems, chronic back and hip pain, depression, fatigue, and menstrual disruption. After years of calorie restriction and eating everything in moderation, she began questioning conventional nutrition advice, and discovered a different way of eating.
Her turning point came unexpectedly through her dog. After researching canine nutrition and seeing his digestive and mobility problems improve on a raw meat diet, Zori began exploring low-carbohydrate eating for herself. What followed was a long journey of experimentation, setbacks, and discovering the importance of eating enough food and fat.
In this episode, Zori shares how her back pain improved, how exercise and low-carb eating transformed her mental health, why severe calorie and fat restriction left her exhausted and without her menstrual cycle, and how changing her meal timing helped her feel even better.
Zori’s message to young women caught in the diet culture trap? Stop punishing yourself, be patient with your body, eat enough, and don’t skip the fat!
WHAT HEALTH PROBLEMS IMPROVED?
Zori described several improvements during her journey:

* Digestive problems

Zori’s story describes a combination of improvements associated with low-carb eating, exercise, therapeutic treatment, increased food intake, and changes to meal timing.
