  • Three Wins On The Bounce & Chester Clash | The Bullscast EP 28
    2026/08/27

Keith Hall joins George Holloway to discuss Hereford's 0-3 win at Worksop and preview the upcoming clashes with Chester & Southport.

First up, the team look back on the emphatic victory at the KC Sofas Stadium last Saturday, Hereford's third win in a row. There were first league goals in a Bulls shirt for Luke Spokes & Danny Waldron, a stunning save from Theo Richardson, and a bizarre red card for Worksop's Aleks Starcenko.

Then it's on to the highly anticipated match with league-leaders Chester this Saturday. The team discuss the impact new Seals boss Phil Parkinson has made, and how Hereford can overcome his side at Edgar Street.

They finish by looking ahead to the Bank Holiday Monday trip to Southport, and a reminiscence on the Bulls' first ever meeting with the Sandgrounders back in 1972.

We compare his role with the successful partnership he enjoyed up front at Merthyr, and discuss how he's adjusting to new styles and playing systems at Hereford.

Cawley is very upbeat as he knows the Bulls have some very exciting players in the squad who are adaptable, and he feels the quality will prove its worth in the months to come.

  • 'One Mistake Doesn't Define You' | Theo Richardson Interview
    2026/08/21

Radio Hereford FC's Keith Hall caught up with Bulls goalkeeper Theo Richardson for an exclusive interview as the pair reflect on back-to-back home wins and two clean sheets.

Theo outlines how a goalkeeper can assist with the defensive organisation of a side that has been reduced to ten men - the type of challenge Hereford faced against Radcliffe.

They also discuss the magnification of goalkeeping errors, insisting that one mistake does not define you, and it's all about having a strong mentality to refocus.

The Bulls' shot-stopper believes the squad is much tighter as a unit this season, with a very positive approach. The players are young and hungry for success, with the new signings making the group even stronger. In fact, Theo is sure there is far more to come with players returning from injury.

Ahead of the opening Enterprise National League North fixture at Buxton, we caught up with Hereford manager Aaron Downes.

In this exclusive interview, he's looking forward to the match with great anticipation, optimism, and ambition. Downes says the foundations are in place, and rather than concentrating on the opposition, he'll be focusing on the Bulls performance.

The Bulls boss says he's pleased with the squad he has assembled, and in the case of Harry Tustin, who has just returned to the M&M Edgar Street Stadium on a season long loan from Cheltenham, he feels the best is yet to come from the midfielder. He's challenged him to produce more goals and assists this season.

Downes believes the travelling Hereford fans will give his side a big lift at Buxton, and wants to provide them with a team they can be proud of this season.
