In Episode 4, we sit down with two of the most electric forces behind Cherry Creek's spirit this year, senior Layne Mills and junior Mike Wehrle. Along with fellow manager Channing Walter, these two went all in as managers of the Field Hockey team this season, taking their roles to another level and becoming an integral part of the championship run.

Layne and Mike talk about what it meant to support the team daily, the behind-the-scenes responsibilities no one sees, and how their energy came alive on the biggest stage, especially during the second half of the state title game where their sideline hype became a secret weapon.

Beyond field hockey, both are massive drivers of school spirit. They’re fixtures in the student section, spirit leaders who’ve helped elevate the atmosphere at Creek this fall. Their versatility is unreal, Layne just committed to play Division I lacrosse at Utah, and Mike is a varsity distance runner on the track team and serves as Student Body Activities Coordinator.
