As always, Weiss kicks things off with Knoeckel, catching up on big news for his beloved UNC Tar Heels—this time, surprisingly about their football program. Knoeckel’s shoulder is continuing to improve, though Weiss might’ve momentarily forgotten and caused him a bit of pain. We had the chance to sit down with Austin on Friday, before the big game, to hear all about the team’s journey, their traditions, and his belief that they had what it took to bring home the title. And wow—did they deliver! Winning in thrilling extra-time fashion, the Bruins showed the grit and determination Austin talked about in our interview.
