On this week's episode of the Brave Little Homer Podcast, we recap a historic weekend for the Braves as we witness the first female umpire at the major league level. Eight games in seven days was rough, but what started as a major skid against the league's best Milwaukee Brewers ended in triumph after taking 4 of 5 from divisional opponent the Miami Marlins.

The question is, where do we go from here? With the Braves more or less eliminated from playoff contention, what do we have to look forward to? I talk about it and more!

    Thanks for listening!

    Rubbin' is Racin', Boys!

The Braves had another exceptionally lackluster week overall, with a total nothing burger at the trade deadline. However, there was a little fun to be had at Bristol Motor Speedway as the Atlanta Braves won the Speedway Classic and Eli White built out more of his Atlanta Braves lore.

When your grandchildren ask, Where were you when Eli White hit two taters at Bristol Motor Speedway?.... What will you say?

I try not to rant too much about the lack of movement at the trade deadline, and I talk a lot about Bristol. I'd like to hear your opinions on that too, and we'll discuss it further next week! Thanks for listening!

On this week's episode of the Brave Little Homer Podcast, I have officially called it. The Braves are done for 2025 and must find ways to ease the pain as they transition into 2026. With officially their entire opening day rotation on the IL, there is little space to go upwards now.

I discuss who is on the chopping block for me ahead of Thursday's 6:00 p.m. MLB trade deadline and who will stay. While my opinion is that the Braves' needs will not immediately be met, and instead addressed in the off-season, it's still fun to hope, right?

    As always, thanks for listening!

"Whoooaaaaaa we're halfway there! Whhhoooooaaaaaaa livin' on a prayer!"

YES! Nothing sums up the first half of the 2025 season of Braves Baseball quite like our selection for The Brave Little Homer's song of the week.

With the injury bug continuing to spread, what can the Braves possibly do to get more output in the win column? AA needs to get on the phone and find us a starting pitcher. Now that we have the offensive production we've been looking for (mostly) we have to have pitchers to keep us in it if we are going to make a run in the second half! We talk about all this and more.

Thank you for tuning into our 50TH EPISODE! Wouldn't be here without you all!

In this week's episode of the Brave Little Homer Podcast, we discuss a very rough week for the Atlanta Braves. Facing our top two divisional opponents went south after a promising start, and stormy weather wasn't the only thing that was troublesome in Atlanta this weekend. With June ending today, and the All-Star Break, the trade deadline, and the dog days of summer fast approaching, the Braves are getting backed into a corner, one they may not be able to get out of.

Are we too far gone? Or can we right the ship?

Tune in to find out! As always, thanks for listening!

In this week's episode of the Brave Little Homer podcast we talk about the highs and lows of the week. After starting the week on cloud 9 with a sweep of the division rival New York Mets, followed by a disappointing series loss to the Marlins, the fans were left with whiplash, and understandably so. Can we blame our old nemesis, consistency, for the problem? I think so.

Also, with the bad news of Chris Sale hitting the IL, how do we keep the rotation from falling apart? Will it only be 15 days? Hopefully!

We talk about all this and more!

On this week's episode of the Brave Little Homer Podcast we talk about the Braves' climb out the doldrums, as they try to claw their way back towards .500. While this week showed more promise, a big fumble of Sunday afternoon's layup vs. Colorado may have highlighted some real problems as the Braves cruise into the summer. What do the Braves need to do to keep us out of the "sellers" category when we get to the trade deadline? We talk about it and more!

    Thanks for listening!

On this week's episode of the Brave Little Homer podcast, we dive into an overall abysmal week for the Atlanta Braves. Being swept twice in a row by both the D-Backs and the Giants was a terrible week, bringing the total number of one-run games for the year to 28. Now, having lost ten one-run games in a row, how can the Braves bounce back? Being over 13 games back in the East with a 27 and 37 record, how can the Braves save the season? Is it salvageable with fewer than 100 games left? We talk about it, my take on Kimbrel, the bullpen, and how close I am to losing faith in the organization. Am I being dramatic? Maybe. What needs to change?
