Please join your hosts Duncan and Darren as they pull into the Dixie Boy Truck Stop (complete with truck stop showers!) with returning guest Jeff from Jefferson’s Barber Shop, grab a booth and a beer and chat about the Stephen King written and directed (with the aid of a mountain of cocaine) Maximum Overdrive! If you like trucks driving around and murdering the locals while ACDC blares, then this is the film for you! See a steamroller crush a child! Watch as Emilio Estevez licks the sweat off the Road Twitch (not the derogatory term we thought)! Listen to Jeff explain how we’ve failed as a car-centric society! Darren asks too many questions! Duncan explains how space works! And more!

Please enjoy responsibly.

Won't you please join your hosts Darren and Duncan as they welcome back into the fold, Dylan Rhymer, as they sit back, have a few frosty ones and pay tribute to the late and certainly great, Dolly Parton, with her film debut 1980s, 9 to 5! Not only do we chat about the groundbreaking comedy and Dolly's amazing contribution to making the world a better place but you get to hear Darren rail against motion smoothing and how it may have ended his relationship with his brother. Darren also gets his mom high. Duncan warns about the dangers of garage door openers and Nancy Reagan's famous oral skills (yes you read that right). Good times guaranteed (no actual guarantee). Please enjoy responsibly.

Pop a cold one, sit back and listen in as Darren, Duncan and Josie chat about the 1980 B-Movie extravaganza, Humanoids From The Deep! Why do these mutant fishmen want to mate with regular human women? Why is Doug McClure so beefy? What's up with inter-species sex? Fish-sticks? Darren wearing lingerie? Why so many terrible beaches and so much nudity? These and other questions may or may not be answered in this scintillating episode of the Black Dog After Dark podcast! Please enjoy responsibly.
