Gwynn, 42, a former professional baseball player for the Brewers, Padres, Dodgers, and Phillies, is now a commentator for the Padres and an afternoon sports talk host on the Padres' flagship radio station.

He spoke about how he fell in love with the game and when he flipped the switch to make it a career.
