Our adventuring party explores the incredible intelligence of brainless amoebas like the Giant Puffball Slime Mold and the aptly named Dog Vomit Slime Mold, which can solve mazes and design public transit routes without a central nervous system. We dive into the ecology of massive, translucent marine organisms like the 60-foot colonial Giant Pyrosomes and the Portuguese Man o' War. Finally, we reveal the Gelatinous Cube’s terrifying real-world counterpart: the abyssal Deepstaria Jellyfish, which turns its transparent body into an inescapable, enzymatic tomb.
