• The 165 AI Employee Org Chart | EP 119
    2026/10/26

Your team can't use an AI employee nobody knows exists. Alane Boyd and Micah Johnson hit that wall with AI employees spread across Claude skills, n8n workflows, artifacts, and scheduled tasks, so they built an AI employee org chart in Claude that pulls every one of them into one place.

If your team is building skills and agents faster than anyone can keep track of them, this is where it starts to cost you: people rebuild what already exists, and good work never leaves the person who made it.

The hosts show how the org chart fixed that for them, and what surprised them along the way.

    In this episode, you'll learn:

    • How Claude inferred their org chart on its own: functional areas, their order from start to finish, and a process map for each
    • Why documentation should be an interactive tool, with search, department filters, and one-click launch instead of a spreadsheet nobody opens
    • How to stop duplicate builds by checking the org chart first and drafting new AI employees only when nothing fits
    • When a personal skill is ready for the whole company, and why 10 to 20% automated beats waiting for perfect
    • The biggest obstacle when implementing an interactive tool like this.

If your AI employees are scattered across tools and team members, press play and see how to bring them into one org chart your whole team can use.

  • How to save hundreds of hours with Claude's most overlooked feature | EP 118
    2026/10/19

Alane Boyd wanted Stripe and QuickBooks in one finance dashboard, and it was quoted as months of development. With a Claude artifact, Alane and Micah built it in under an hour. In this episode, they explain why artifacts might be Claude's most overlooked feature.

If you're tired of copying answers out of an AI chat, artifacts are the next step: real interfaces with buttons, filters, and live data that Claude builds for you in minutes. Alane and Micah share the three ways they and their clients use them every day, and the mistake teams make once building them gets easy.

    In this episode, you'll learn:

    • How to build a working dashboard in about 15 minutes from more than one data source, starting with a rough prompt
    • Why you should keep your data in ClickUp and put an artifact on top as your own command center, synced both ways
    • What happens when you share an artifact externally and why connector data stays private
    • How to chat with a folder of documents, from SOPs to a 400-page RFP, using cloud storage and an MCP connector
    • The biggest obstacle with artifacts and how to decide what actually deserves to become one

If you want AI tools built around your own work instead of another chat window, press play and build your first artifact today.

  • How We Use Claude to Build Landing Pages Insanely Fast | EP 117
    2026/10/12

One landing page used to take weeks of wireframes, revisions (and arguments), and often never launched (or launched a lesser version). Alane Boyd and Micah Johnson now design pages in Claude Design and ship them to their website in hours, and in this episode they give away the whole process.

If you need more leads but can’t spend a month on every page, this is the workflow to copy.

The hosts show where the effort still goes, why one prompt is never enough, and how to keep the result from looking like everything else AI makes.

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

    • The two-ingredient tech stack: the Claude Suite plus a website host with an MCP server
    • Why a design system comes first, and how one shared brand kit saves the whole team time
    • How to feed Claude context like call transcripts, brochures, and pages you admire, with no formatting required
    • How Claude Design and Claude Code split the work, from a live design to a deployed Webflow page that Claude checks for you
    • Why designing in Claude Design beats prompting Claude Code for every small visual change

If your landing pages are stuck in a months-long loop, press play and steal the playbook.

  • Part 2: Use Claude to Find Your Audience's Pain Points | EP 116
    2026/10/05

Your CRM was built to run a sales pipeline, not to answer marketing questions. Alane Boyd and Micah Johnson open up the five tools behind their 300+ leads a month and show why adding a database beside the CRM turned a slow, token-hungry search into a five-second answer from Claude.

If you have ever asked an AI tool about your leads and watched it pull deals, then contacts, then notes, then give you something vague, this episode explains why. The hosts cover the full stack, from the AI note taker on every sales call to the automation that catches each form fill and booking.

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

    • How to pick an AI recorder that Claude Cowork can read through a native connector or MCP server
    • Why the CRM and the database get different jobs, with sales in one and marketing analysis in the other
    • What makes Supabase a fit for Claude, and where Airtable falls short
    • When to use n8n instead of Claude for anything that waits on a trigger
    • Three questions worth asking Claude once your lead data sits in one place

If your lead data lives in a CRM and you want real answers from it, press play to see how the stack fits together.

  • Part 1: Claude-powered Marketing Systems that Bring in 100s of Leads | EP 115
    2026/09/28

Three landing pages in six months used to be a good year for Alane Boyd and Micah Johnson. With a Claude-powered marketing system, they have published more than 70 in a few months, and it now brings in about 300 leads a month. In this episode, they walk through the whole system, one element at a time.

If you have no marketing team and still need more leads, this is the conversation to hear. The hosts show where Claude does the building, where they still make every call, and why the hard part of marketing moved instead of disappearing.

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

    • How to find the problems your leads actually have by giving Claude your sales call transcripts and lead form answers
    • Why one homepage for all your traffic fails and how templates in Claude Design make a page per problem practical
    • How Claude Code publishes to Webflow with a preview for your approval before anything goes live
    • How to build ads from the page you just published using skills in Claude Cowork, starting with Google Ads
    • Why a separate lead database changed everything, and why it started as the crappiest possible version
    • Where your effort should go now that the build takes minutes

If you want a marketing engine without hiring a marketing department, press play and start with the system the hosts run every day.

  • Use Claude Design and Stop Building Slide Decks by Hand | EP 114
    2026/09/21

Building a slide deck by hand has been a time-consuming endeavor, until now.

Alane Boyd and Micah Johnson break down how to connect Claude to the systems that hold your data, pull the information, analyze it, and then create an on-brand, template-powered slide deck in minutes, not hours.

If you're currently creating slide decks by exporting reports, reformatting numbers, fighting a master slide, and then emailing a PowerPoint file around for feedback, this episode is for you.

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

    • Why the manual part is the data, not the design, and how connectors remove it
    • What a design system actually is, described as a fancy way of saying your brand guidelines
    • How to turn a call transcript into a deck instead of starting from numbers every time
    • What to say to a design team that does not want to hand over the template
    • How to get feedback with Claude Design using in-context comments that pass straight back to Claude
    • How a 60-slide deck was fully animated with a single prompt and no edits

The episode also debuts the "BO Report" (Biggest Obstacle), a new closing segment on the biggest obstacle that teams face related to the episode topic.

  • AI bank reconciliation in 10 minutes | EP 113
    2026/09/14

Bank reconciliation is the task everyone wants to automate, and before today's AI tech, nobody could. Alane Boyd and Micah Johnson explain why it stayed manual for so long, then walk through the exact prompt that turns eight to ten hours of line-item matching into a short 10 min review.

When you export your statements from your bank and QuickBooks (or another accounting platform), there are no matching IDs, no shared descriptions, and nothing a traditional automation could key off; somebody had to sit down and compare them line by line, and that somebody was expensive.

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

    • Why rules-based automation could never reconcile your books and what changed when AI could read AWS, Amazon Web Services, and Amazon Web SVCS as one vendor
    • The three-rule starting prompt that matches on description, amount, and a three-day date window
    • How to read the exceptions when AI explains that a check has not cleared or a bank fee has not hit QuickBooks yet
    • How to turn the first run into a reusable skill so you never re-explain your setup again
    • Where the human stays in the loop, because the matching is low-value work and the exceptions are not
    • How the same approach applies to investment property statements, media buys, and anything else with two lists that should agree

Reconciliation might be a boring task, but that's exactly why it is a great place to point AI first. Press play and start automating your reconciliation workflow this week.

  • Special Announcement! (New things coming)
    2026/08/17

Automate Your Agency is taking a short break and coming back as something different. Alane Boyd and Micah Johnson are reimagining the show to match where AI actually sits (and shouldn't sit!) in a business today.

The questions listeners send in have moved well past “how do I automate this workflow.” They now cover finance, marketing, executive teams, and everything in between, and the show is being rebuilt to match.

    What’s changing:

    • A new name and a new brand for the show, arriving after a couple of weeks off recording
    • Same feed, same place to listen, so there is nothing to re-subscribe to
    • Every past episode stays available; the back catalog is not going anywhere
    • Deeper use-case episodes across finance, marketing, and executive teams
    • An open call for topics, because the next format is being shaped around what listeners ask for

Send over the topics you want covered!
