In this episode I chat to Lily, who is an NCT instructor and hypnobirthing teacher in Devon. Lily has a medical condition called Ehlers Danlos, which affects connective tissues and collagen in the body, and she speaks to me about how this condition affected her pregnancy and births of her 3 girls. She recounts how her birth started, and points out some key examples of the importance of surrendering to birth, listening to your body, and using all the instincts you have available to you to help your body birth your baby.
