    Micah Parsons publicly requested a trade after talks with Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones broke down over a contract extension. He’s in the final year of his rookie deal, set to earn close to $24M in 2025, while seeking an extension at market-leading defensive rusher rates—possibly exceeding $40M per year, or even a $200M package over three years. Parsons reportedly was frustrated negotiations excluded his agent. After a private March meeting where Jones and Parsons discussed terms, Parsons removed the offer from the table, saying he assumed his agent would continue talks—only to be turned back by management.nts
