We've had to say goodbye to Gen X legends, the penny, and even MTV (as we knew it, anyway)... which made us wonder: What would want to bring back from our childhood and what are we happy to leave behind?

And yes, I know Faerie Tale Theatre was hosted by Shelley Duvall, not Shelley Long. I don't know why Joe didn't correct me either because he's as much a fan of those stories as I am. So I blame him.

After a year and a half of learning and discovery, Joe and I finally get to talk about something we've kept private until now.

Two weeks ago, I was diagnosed with autism. It was a scary conversation for me, but I hope it might help other Gen X women out there who were also overlooked.
