In the Odyssey, after the Trojan War, Odysseus faces a dangerous voyage back to Ithaca, meeting creatures like the Cyclops Polyphemus, Sirens, and Calypso along the way.

The film is directed and written for the screen by Christopher Nolan, based on the epic poem by Homer, and stars Matt Damon as Odysseus, Anne Hathaway as Penelope, Tom Holland as Telemachus, Robert Pattinson as Antinous, John Leguizamo as Eumaeus, Benny Safdie as Agamemnon, Himesh Patel as Eurylochus, Jon Bernthal as Menelaus, and Charlize Theron as Calypso (among many other actors.)
