  • All That Bible Knowledge… For What? 🤔

    You know the Scriptures.

    You know theology.

    You know doctrine.

You know the Greek. You know the Hebrew. You understand hermeneutics, historical context, systematic theology, apologetics, and every argument necessary to defend what you believe.

    Congratulations.

    But there’s still one question:

    For what?

What good is knowing everything about God if everything you’ve learned has failed to make you look more like Him?

What good is being able to defend the truth while being arrogant toward the person you’re defending it against?

What good is winning the theological argument if you humiliate your brother or sister in Christ in the process?

What good is exposing everybody else’s bad theology while refusing to examine your own character?

And what good is knowing exactly what the Bible says if the people around you experience condescension, impatience, pride, disrespect, and cruelty instead of the love, grace, mercy, patience, and compassion of Christ?

After seven episodes of The Berean Podcast digging into Scripture, context, doctrine, hermeneutics, false teaching, and even the character of God Himself, there may be no more important way to end than by turning the examination back on ourselves.

  • The God You Created vs. The God Who Revealed Himself
    2026/07/01

What if the God you believe in… isn’t actually the God revealed in Scripture?

Some have created a God who is perpetually angry—harsh, impatient, waiting for humanity to mess up so He can punish them.

Others have created a God who is little more than unconditional affirmation—a God who loves, forgives, tolerates everything, and would never judge anyone.

But what happens when we stop allowing culture, tradition, personal experience, and even our own preferences to define God… and simply allow God to tell us who He is?

In Exodus 34:6–7, God does exactly that.

When YHWH passes before Moses, He proclaims His own name and reveals His own character:

    Merciful.
    Gracious.
    Slow to anger.
    Abounding in steadfast love.
    Faithful.
    Forgiving iniquity, transgression, and sin.

    And yet—

He will not leave the guilty unpunished.

    Mercy and justice.

    Grace and holiness.

    Patience and judgment.

Forgiveness without pretending evil doesn’t matter.

This is not humanity attempting to describe God.

    This is God describing Himself.

In Episode 7 of The Berean Podcast, we’re taking a deep dive into one of the most important revelations of God’s character in all of Scripture: Exodus 34:6–7.

  • Death to the Protagonist: Why 'Main Character Energy' is Killing Your Faith

We live in the age of the protagonist. Whether it’s the invincible hero in an anime, the legend in a blockbuster movie, or the carefully curated highlight reel on social media, we are obsessed with "Main Character Energy." We crave the plot armor that guarantees we’ll always survive, the impossible wins, and the feeling that the world is a stage built specifically for our journey.

But when we bring that same mindset to our faith, we create a dangerous distortion. We start treating God not as the Sovereign Creator, but as the supporting actor—the life coach, the cosmic concierge, or the sidekick whose sole purpose is to help us reach our full potential.

Death to the Protagonist is a direct challenge to the "me-centered" theology that is quietly hollow-out the modern church.

In this episode, we’re stripping away the illusion. We’ll expose the trap of "eisegesis"—where we read the Bible to find ourselves in the story—and return to the discipline of "exegesis," where we step back to let God be the hero. Because the truth is, when you are the main character, you are destined to be the center of your own frustration. But when you realize you aren't the hero, you are finally free to participate in the real, eternal story that God has been writing from the beginning.

It’s time to stop looking for yourself in the Bible and start looking for Him. If you’re tired of the performance and ready to surrender your own "plot armor," join us as we shift the spotlight back to the only Hero who truly matters.

  • Loved by the World, Hated by God? The Truth About Modern Prophets
    2026/06/24

    Send us Fan Mail

Modern day “prophets” promise comfort, health, and a customized destiny, all wrapped in a sleek, shareable package.

But have you ever stopped to wonder why the world finds them so palatable—and why they are so eager to hit "like" on their message?

In the Scriptures, the true prophets of God were rarely the most popular people in the room. They were marked by friction. They were dragged through the dirt, exiled, and often hated because they dared to call a rebellious people to repentance. Contrast that with the modern "prophet" industry on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram, where the goal is to be pampered, platformed, and sold out to the masses.

Loved by the World, Hated by God? is a hard look at the dangerous disconnect between modern content strategies and biblical conviction. We aren't here to be fanboys of personalities; we are here to be Bereans of the Word.

In this episode, we’re peeling back the curtain on the performance of anointing. We’re dismantling the "itching ears" culture that has traded the power of the Gospel for the convenience of a digital fortune-teller’s promise. If you are tired of the manipulation and hungry for what God actually says—unfiltered and unedited—it’s time to hold these viral "revelations" up to the cold, hard, and unchangeable light of Scripture.

It’s time to stop consuming spiritual content and start guarding the Truth. Are you ready to see who is actually speaking for God, and who is just building their own platform?

    2026/06/24

    Send us Fan Mail

Was Jesus of Nazareth just a great moral teacher, a revolutionary, or a misunderstood prophet? Or did He make a claim so radical that it cost Him His life?

In this episode of The Berean Podcast, we’re moving past the cultural "nice Jesus" to look at the historical, explosive reality of His identity. We aren't here to rely on popular opinion or the traditions of men—we’re here to do what the Bereans did: examine the scriptures daily to see if these things are so.

    We’re diving deep into:

🔥 The "Blasphemy" Factor: Why did the religious leaders of the first century immediately reach for stones the moment Jesus spoke?

🔥 Divine Prerogatives: Exploring the moments Jesus claimed authority that belongs to God alone—from forgiving sins to searching the hearts of men.

🔥 The Scriptural Echoes: How the New Testament writers deliberately aligned Jesus with the titles and roles of Yahweh in the Old Testament.

🔥 The Crowd’s Reaction: Understanding why those who actually walked the dusty roads with Him were convinced He was claiming to be God.

If you’ve ever wondered why the divinity of Christ is the most debated topic in human history, this episode is for you. We’re laying out the evidence, looking at the "Red Letters," and letting the Bible speak for itself.

  • Not a Human Invention: The Eternal Reality of the Triune God

If you’ve ever spent time in a deep study of the Scriptures, you might have noticed something—you won’t find the word "Trinity" anywhere in the pages of your Bible. For some, this is just a linguistic curiosity; for others, it has become a stumbling block, leading to the common assumption that the doctrine is a man-made tradition or a philosophical framework invented centuries later at the Council of Nicaea.

But is that the truth, or have we mistaken a label for the reality?

Not a Human Invention invites you to pull back the veil on the most profound mystery of the Christian faith. We are diving deep into the nature of the Godhead to discover that while the word may be a term of convenience, the reality it describes is woven into the very fabric of the biblical narrative from the opening chapters of Genesis to the final visions of Revelation.

In this episode, we move beyond the myths. We aren't looking at a late-stage invention; we are looking at the consistent, self-revelation of the Creator. We’ll explore how the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are not three competing gods, nor three separate masks worn by one deity, but the eternal, cohesive, and relational reality of who God has always been.

If you’ve ever felt like your understanding of the Trinity was shaky or you’ve struggled to articulate why this matters to your faith, this conversation is for you. Join us as we ground ourselves in the truth that our God did not wait for a council to define His nature—He revealed it to us through His Word, His works, and the coming of His Son. It’s time to stop seeing the Trinity as a difficult doctrine and start seeing it as the breathtaking heart of the Christian gospel.

We were never meant to walk in the shadows of separation. We were designed for communion with the Divine, yet we found ourselves adrift—dead in our trespasses, separated by a standard of holiness we could never reach and a debt we could never pay. The blueprint of our existence had been fractured by sin, leaving us destined for a distance from God that no human effort could bridge.

But the story did not end in the silence of our failure.

The Architect of Life tells the breathtaking narrative of the One who stepped out of eternity and into the constraints of human history. Jesus, the very God who breathed life into the stars, took on flesh to walk the path we could not tread. He lived the perfect life we failed to live, met the righteous requirements of the Law on our behalf, and dismantled the barrier of sin through His death.

This is more than just a story of a rescue mission; it is the account of a total restoration. By His burial, He entered our darkness; by His resurrection, He shattered the chains of death; and by His ascension, He opened the way for us to be permanently united to Him.

In this exploration, we uncover how Christ’s finished work is not merely a past historical event, but an ongoing reality. Discover what it means to step out of the wreckage of the old life and into the radical, pulsating vitality of new life—found only in Him.

  • The Shared Struggle: Why We Carry Each Other’s Burdens
    2026/06/24

    Send us Fan Mail

Life is the great equalizer. It doesn't check your bank account, your zip code, your gender, or your status before it delivers a season of hardship. When the storm hits, it’s easy to feel isolated—to believe that the weight you’re carrying is uniquely yours, or worse, that your struggle is a sign that you’ve been abandoned by God.

But what if the friction of your life isn't a sign of failure, but a preparation for mission?

The Shared Struggle challenges the internal narrative that says our pain is meant only for us to endure. We often try to personalize our trials, forgetting that we are part of a larger, interconnected body of believers. In this conversation, we look past the surface of "just another hard day" to uncover the profound, often difficult truth: we go through things not just for ourselves, but for the sake of the people waiting for a testimony that matches their own.

When we hold onto our stories, we withhold hope from others. When we release the need to make our suffering about "me," we open the door to becoming the exact help someone else needs to navigate their own valley.

Join us as we break the cycle of silent suffering. We’ll discuss why staying anchored in your faith during a crisis is the most powerful thing you can do for those around you, and how your hardest chapters are actually the bridge God is building to lead someone else home. It’s time to stop asking, "Why is this happening to me?" and start seeing how your life is being used to carry the burdens of the world.
