概要
In this episode, we delve into a terrifying recovered-memory account about a childhood abduction, a hidden facility, and a children’s television show that may have been used to reach new victims years later.
Case: The Bear Costume Abduction
Date: 1985 / August 14, 1999
Location: Unknown / Children’s television broadcast
Status: Unresolved
Event: Childhood abduction and resurfaced predator
Phrase: “Bad kids stay up late”
Witness: Former victim and his son Connor
An eleven-year-old boy was abducted during a sleepover at Anthony Hampton’s house.
A chemical smell entered the room after a voice whispered, “Bad kids stay up late.”
He woke in a locked room with bones, a caged microphone, and the phrase carved into the wall.
A man in a bear costume controlled the room and forced him to follow strange rules.
The boy escaped during a fire by crawling through a vent.
Fourteen years later, he saw the same bear costume on a children’s TV show inviting kids to write letters.
